About StitchRove

StitchRove is an independent directory of websites for makers: the tools you design with, where to find patterns, the brands and shops for supplies, and places to learn. We list 274 sites in 21 categories across 7 crafts.

How we list sites

Every listing is written by us from the site itself and public information, not copied from marketing text. For each site we note what it is, which crafts it serves, how it is priced, whether it has free patterns, whether it suits beginners and, for shops, whether it ships internationally.

We only list independent websites with their own domain. Marketplaces are listed once, not shop by shop. Anyone can submit a site; we review submissions by hand.

Rankings

Rankings count unique visits sent from StitchRove to each site. A visitor counts once per site every 24 hours, bots are ignored, and we store only a salted hash, never your IP address.

Sponsored and featured listings

Editor’s picks are chosen by us. Sponsored placements are paid and always labelled “Sponsored”; payment never changes what we write about a site. See advertising.

Free tools

Our free tools run entirely in your browser. Photos you load into the pattern maker are processed on your device and never uploaded.
