Ink/Stitch
Ink/Stitch is an open-source extension that turns Inkscape into machine embroidery digitising software. You draw vector shapes, assign stitch types and export to common machine formats.
It is the leading free option for digitising your own designs.

- Lettering
- Export to common machine formats
Stitch Catalog
A free browser tool for people who already keep machine embroidery designs. Open PES/DST files or a ZIP on your device, compare previews, select designs and print a picture catalog with SC reference IDs and dimensions. Export the matching CSV index to find the original files by path. No account is required; input designs stay in the browser. It is a read-only catalog helper, not a digitizer, stitch editor, resizer or machine-format converter. Preview appearance is not a sewn-result guarantee. Licensed real-file examples are available at https://stitchcatalog.oinkmates.party/examples/. I am the maker and am submitting this for independent review.
