Paper & style
Print at 100% / Actual size, not “Fit to page”. Then measure the check ruler at the bottom of the sheet: if it is exactly 1 inch and 2 cm, your cells are true to size.
Brick stitch graph paper with offset rows
In brick stitch the bead holes run up and down, so each bead is wider than it is tall, and every other row shifts half a bead. Set the beads per row to plan earrings, pendants or pattern bands.

How to use it
- Choose your beads, or enter a custom bead size.
- Choose how much larger than real size to print.
- Optionally set beads per row and number of rows, for example for earrings.

Questions
What is brick stitch graph paper?
In brick stitch each row is offset by half a bead from the row below, like bricks in a wall. Brick stitch graph paper draws the beads in staggered rows so your design matches the finished piece.
What is the difference between brick stitch and peyote graph paper?
Brick stitch has offset rows; peyote has offset columns. A peyote chart turned on its side looks similar, but brick stitch beads face the other way, so the cell shape is different.
Is brick stitch good for earrings?
Yes. Brick stitch is popular for fringe earrings and shaped motifs because it is easy to decrease at the ends of rows to make triangles and points.
