Free printable C2C crochet graph paper. Set your blanket size in tiles, add bold lines and numbers, and download a PDF, PNG or SVG.
Print at 100% / Actual size, not “Fit to page”. Then measure the check ruler at the bottom of the sheet: if it is exactly 1 inch and 2 cm, your cells are true to size.
C2C tiles are square, so plain square graph paper keeps your design in proportion. Set the grid to the exact size of your blanket in tiles, colour your picture, then work it from corner to corner.
Have a picture you want to crochet? The photo to pattern maker turns it into a coloured grid you can follow tile by tile. Find more crochet charting tools in crochet chart makers.
Corner-to-corner (C2C) crochet is worked in small square tiles, usually three double crochets around a chain-3 space. Each square on C2C graph paper stands for one tile, so you can colour in a design and read it diagonally, row by row.
Start at one corner and work diagonal rows, adding one tile per row until you reach the widest point, then decrease. Count the colours along each diagonal from the graph.
It depends on your yarn and hook: each tile is often around 1 inch with worsted yarn, so a 50 × 60 inch throw might be about 50 × 60 tiles. Make a small swatch to measure your own tile size.
Yes. Any design charted one colour per square works for C2C, tapestry crochet, mosaic-style pixel blankets and even cross stitch.
